My Project

My PreK students are full of wonder and love to investigate. We want them to explore through scientific discovery, allowing them to ask questions and collaborate to find answers. They are fascinating to watch during free exploration time - I hear their inquiries and connections growing stronger with each uncovered insight!

Young children deserve access to STEM manipulatives that spurn creativity and imagine new possibilities.

My goal is for our four- and five-year-olds to become passionate about science, technology, math, and engineering. These treasured supplies - magnifying set, magnets, and sink or float - will stimulate their senses. Seeing, hearing, touching, and smelling cultivate multisensory and meaningful learning. When multiple senses are activated simultaneously, the more likely children are to retain the newly processed information and own it. They link background knowledge with fresh discoveries and they light up!

Our students are special because they treasure everything. They are very appreciative and resourceful with what we have - even the wood chips on the playground! Our school recently added PreK but the district only supplied the curriculum, not the early childhood centers and manipulatives that are ideal for exploratory learning and engagement. We would be honored to have your support and partnership. It is beautiful to watch their minds and spirits come alive and you could be the reason we thrive!
