Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every morning, my students are excited to start the day of learning! All my special education students, in grade 2, are ready to work hard to achieve their goals in school.

We are an integrated-collaborative teaching class of motivated and ambitious learners.

My Project

As a teacher, I want to see my students bring their creativity. My students face challenges both in and out of the classroom. My goal is to provide them with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

They like to move and read, and they love lots of positive attention.

From the minute they walk in my classroom door, I focus on their potential and growth. I may not control their home lives; however, I can control their experiences during the school day. By doing this creatively and positively, I hope to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.

We want to have a special reward for them each week they complete their work. The theme for this cart will be Full STEM Ahead! These building tools will encourage teamwork, good communication, and most importantly, fun! Some of the STEM items we picked are; Bristle Blocks, Lincoln Logs, and Magnatiles. Please help us motivate and reward our hard-working students.
