This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Special Education Teacher working in an all inclusive classroom at RRPC. Our preschool yard needs a little TLC. We have already made great improvements with the help of our families and community members. But there is still one area we are missing that is important for our young learners and there sensory needs.

A sandbox and water table are very important areas for our preschool children because they allow our young learners the ability to be creative in play while fulfilling their sensory needs.

This is a sensory area that helps not just our special education students but all students learn through play!

With your help we will not just help students from one, two, or three classrooms, but many classrooms to come!
