This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 2nd grade. The kids at my school are very loving. They try their hardest and will do anything for their teachers. Some live in tough neighborhoods or homeless shelters. They still come to school wanting to learn and happy to be there. We always want to make sure to provide for every student.
My Project
Our school is in the process of becoming the first STEM certified elementary school in Tennessee! We are doing a really great job so far and the students are enjoying it so much. I want to integrate some STEM activities into my daily math stations.
Help me add Bee Bot Programmable Robots into math stations to practice fact fluency!
These robots are amazing and easy to use. Students push the buttons to move the bee around a work mat. The great thing is they think they are playing! They can use this on the number chart to fluently add and subtract. I can also make my own mat with what we are learning in class!
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
