My Project

My students are curious, creative thinkers who thrive on hands-on learning. They bring energy and enthusiasm to every challenge, always eager to explore new ways of solving problems. What makes them truly special is their willingness to collaborate, take risks, and support one another as they learn. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and face challenges outside the classroom, but they never let that limit their potential. They show up every day ready to grow, and that resilience and determination inspire me as a teacher.

The Sphero BOLT robots will open the door to real-world applications of STEM concepts that are often difficult to visualize.

These robots allow students to code, test, and immediately see the results of their programming, which strengthens both understanding and engagement. Whether they're learning about loops, conditionals, or variables, the interactive nature of Sphero makes abstract concepts come to life. This hands-on approach fosters problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork in a way that textbooks alone cannot.

My goal for this project is to build a learning environment where every student feels empowered to become a confident innovator. I want them to see themselves as engineers, programmers, and creators, capable of shaping the world around them. By incorporating Sphero BOLT into our lessons, I can differentiate instruction, engage students at every level, and offer challenges that grow with them. These resources won’t just support academic achievement—they’ll help spark a lifelong interest in technology and exploration.
