Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These science STEM kits will be distributed so that the students can work on and complete this exploration at home with his or her family members. The students will be able to get hands-on experiences to reinforce the STEM concepts necessary for success in the sciences.

The ability for any student, let alone students from urban settings, to strengthen their skills in STEM subject areas will only empower them to become aware and excited about the sciences and math.

This robot building kit will enable the students to understand the use of solar energy to make items function, along with the ability to understand the components of making robots.

As the Next Generation standards call on our students to be college and career ready, this kit will enable the students to do just that, to become aware of the skills and concepts needed to succeed in higher education.
