Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials listed in this donation would greatly engage my students learning and spark creativity. The book bags and phonics hands on activities will get my students excited about learning to read. These activities are hands on and will allow students to manipulate words to see how it changes, they will allow them to visually see how vowel sounds change for example. This activity also sparks some fun because it had phonics in a game like setting were they can practice their phonics skill while having fun. I just know my students will love these learning tools.

Additionally, the stem materials will allow for my students to engage in collaborative building opportunities and create fun new things that will spark conversations and curiosity into more learning opportunities.

I know that my class with thrive with these materials and will enjoy first grade even more! Thank you for all your support!
