My Project

I am a elementary STEM Teacher who is have a schoolwide STEM night. Every year, we host several academic nights to bring families, community members, teachers and students together for fun and fellowship.

Our science night includes hands-on activities and science demonstrations that include kits included in this project.

Teachers and staff donate their time for these nights in order to promote social emotional learning, academic practice, and meta-cognitive thinking.

By using a Dash robot, our students will:

-Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills

-Learn sequencing, algorithms, and programming concepts

-Enhance math and science understanding through real-world applications

-Cultivate collaboration, communication, and creativity

Ms. Ford Vaughn Road Elementary School Grades 3-5

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
