My Project

These various classroom resources will help provide my students with hands-on manipulatives and games to help them build a better understanding and deeper connection with our course content. The students will enjoy the Shut the Box game and will develop both their math fluency and also build relationships with their fellow students.

In 6th grade geometry can be difficult and these 3D figures will help students better visualize and understand the figures they are working with to be able to accurately calculate area and volume.

Other classroom resources would be very helpful in organizing our learning space. The labels would be used for our resource storage along with the cubby numbers. The laminating pouches, sheet projectors, and colored paper would be used to create re-usable math practice pages including multiplication, addition, division, subtraction, and fractions practice. The ethernet adapter would help us better utilize our technology in the classroom and provide a better learning experience for our students.
