"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Ralph Waldo Emerson
Mr. Emerson's quote reminded me to blaze my own trail for my students.
During this pandemic I had to implement paper-based work for some of my students that didn't have technology, therefore I mailed certain lessons to them to ensure they were getting the necessary subjects I needed the to grasp for next year. As for my other students, I created (Google Classroom) for my other students that had technology at home. This was a trying time for my students but they were resilient and willing to continue their learning.
My Project
"It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light." Aristotle
Even though we had some dark days due to COVID-19, I always found the light in my students' faces.
It's crucial for my students and I to have these resources in order, to assist them to grasp the concepts and skills of S.T.E.M. First, I will create a model the lesson exhibiting how I created a simple pulley system using items around my home then, my students will experiment with making on their own simple machine with basic supplies with their homes. This lesson will expose them to think outside the box on how to plan and design their simple machine. This S.T.E.M. project will be is important for my students development during this upcoming school year.
My goal for my students will always be to disseminate and to facilitate information for educational growth. These S.T.E.M. kits will be essential to my future engineer.
