My Project

This project will make a difference because students will be able to check books out just like a library based on their STEM interest. Students feel that that there are no books that are stem related and This will introduce them to STEM related books to keep them engaged in the subject.

My goal for this project is to encourage students to read and complete creative book reports.

Students will be able to complete video commercials, green screen projects, cereal box book reports, text messages between characters and much more fun creative assignments.

In order to do this students need books. Many students are shocked that there a books about stem and look forward to reading the book. many students have challenges such as parents do not trust them to go to the library after school some parents don't have the time to take them to the library and in other cases the library is far from home.

Having the classroom STEM library will allow students to be able to have access to a variety of books to pick and choose from based on their interest.

Ms. McIntosh Intermediate School 192 Linden Grades 6-8
