My Project

This school year my first graders have shown a great interest in STEM. We have borrowed kits from other places in the state but we would like some to keep in our classroom for further exploration and learning. With STEM, the children are using so many areas of their brain while at the same time just having fun. These STEM kits would help them continue to explore this interest and see how math, science, engineering and technology can be fun and engaging while using knowledge they’ve learned to accomplish the goal. The items I’m requesting will help my students fulfill science requirements in their learning by figuring out how important structure is when building or putting in precise directions when doing coding so as to get the machine to do what you want.
