Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m excited to create a unique learning space where students can explore the fascinating world of science through the delicious baking medium. Our STEM lab will combine the joy of culinary arts with the rigor of scientific inquiry.

Through hands-on experiments and simple recipes, students will uncover the science of baking and learn about chemical reactions, temperature, and measurement.

They will develop critical thinking skills, ask questions, hypothesize, and draw conclusions based on observations. They will cultivate creativity by experimenting with flavors, techniques, and presentation.

Beyond baking, our STEM lab will offer opportunities for students to explore other creative outlets, such as crocheting and woodworking. These activities promote fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of accomplishment.

Our STEM lab will inspire future scientists and Engineers, and spark curiosity, and a love of learning. It will foster well-rounded Individuals and develop both cognitive and creative skills. It will create a vibrant learning community and build a space where students can thrive.
