My Students

Our school corporation is a rural district, trying to equip our students with the skills and experiences to be successful in our ever-changing world. I have the privilege to teach first grade, in our small rural district.

My first grade students are excited about the world around them.

As their teacher, it is my goal to create opportunities to make them curious about the world around them. My goal is to empower them to ask questions and find answers. My students are world changers.

My Project

I am requesting STEM kits and engineering tubs for my amazing first grade students. They love building and enjoy designing. We would introduce these kits during our weekly STEM time and then use them everyday during our Morning Tub time. Students would have access to these materials everyday!

I love hearing my students get excited about working together!

Designing and building houses, chain reactions, and other unique creation helps my students work collaboratively. After each test run, kids will fine-tune the placement, distance and angle of each piece—getting firsthand practice with STEM concepts such as gravity, force and momentum! Please help us make our learning dreams a reality!
