Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

STEM-based education teaches children more than science and mathematics concepts. The focus on hands-on learning with real-world applications helps develop a variety of skill sets, including creativity and 21st-century skills. My Multilingual and Special Education students are hands-on learners, with various learning styles.

It is crucial to provide students with opportunities to learn and explore, while cognitively challenging themselves to become problem solvers.

By donating to this project, you are helping set a solid foundation for my students to be creative, critical thinkers, explore interest, and understand identity. All of the hands-on materials will allow my students to think outside of the box, build, and solve problems.

All in all, the focus on logical thought processes and problem-solving allows students to develop mental habits that will help them succeed in any field. STEM challenges students to think critically and come up with their own solutions.
