My Project

I teach energetic second grade students who come to school with many questions about the world. They are curious and creative. They enjoy working collaboratively and solving problems together. My students work best when they can collaborate and construct an understanding of how things work together. These projects allow students to be scientists and engineers while also working on building their social skills.

I believe the best way to increase students' interest in science, technology, engineering, and math is to give them hands-on activities, like a K'NEX Building Set, a building block set, a butterfly garden, and other STEM materials.

With your support, I can create an environment that fosters creativity, nurtures engineering skills, and enhances problem solving skills.
