My Project

My students are developing their critical thinking skills to prepare for careers in science. This year students will participate in the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program.

The test tube holders for our test tubes, seed starter kits, and organic seeds will be used by students to develop experiments & test their hypothesis about growing fruits or vegetables with gravity (on Earth) & in microgravity at the ISS space station during Mission 17.

In our unit on "Botany in Space" the exploration of microgravity and plant life will develop their problem-solving skills & allow an analysis of data from space.

Ms. Jennings Brooklyn Science & Engineering Academy Grades 6-8
