My Students

My students are always eager to walk through the door for STEM class. Through a blend of interdisciplinary content, I am able to create an upbeat atmosphere where students are willing to take intellectual risks while gaining skills that will prepare them for College and the workforce. Through technology, students thus far have been able to complete basic coding, digital citizenship, and basic web design.

My eclectic group of students are always excited to see whats next, but lack of funding limits my abilities in the classroom.

Therefore, I am looking for funding that will allow the class to utilize STEM kits and other resources. With your help, the future for my students can be limitless!

My Project

Up until this point my students in STEM have been limited to coding and web design on laptops. This great opportunity offers my students the ability to further their learning by applying concepts in the classroom. Materials such as snap circuits allow students to delver deeper into circuitry. Constructing prototypes and revising kinesthetic work promotes critical thinking within the classroom, offering students the opportunity to solve real world issues in the class.

Inspiring students to broaden their horizons by utilizing the anatomy of the heart might open opportunities and spark interest of those who choose to enter the medical field.

These resources might very well lead my students into a future where possibilities are endless and success is inevitable.
