Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Critical thinking skills are something that must be nourished and embedded into early childhood education for students to be prepared for the latter stages of education.

The STEM aligned materials connect to the NYC Department of Education Units of Study for pre-kindergarten; therefore they are both educational and age appropriate.

My students will have the opportunity to engage in hands on projects; for example they will be able to construct bridges in the Transportation unit. They will be able build homes strong enough to withstand an earthquake and use visual cues to create model representations.
