My Students

We love working with our energetic pre-kindergarten students each year! Our classroom is full of fun, creative, pre-kindergarten students who are excited to come to school and always eager to learn! Our classroom provides experiences and opportunities to children ages 3-5 years old within a small, rural community in central Illinois. The pre-kindergarten years have such an impact on fostering a love of reading! We would love to be able to offer this quaint little hideaway reading nook to our young students to encourage them to cozy up with their favorite books and read with a friend!

Our students are creative, energetic, compassionate friends who love to learn throughout our play-based developmentally appropriate pre-kindergarten classroom!

My Project

We focus on bringing hands-on experiences into our pre-kindergarten classroom in a play-based developmentally appropriate classroom. We are working on expanding our classroom woodworking center by adding these safe building materials and goggles. Our sensory tables are also extremely busy classroom centers. Adding in these two water play activities into our water tables will be very inviting to our young children. So many elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math are reinforced within these various woodworking and sand/water table centers we are hoping to add within our pre-k classroom. We are so excited to be able to offer these new items and our students will be so excited also!
