My Project

The use of playdough is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math, writing and science. In math students come to this area and they will be able to count and make numbers. They will be able to add and subtract. In writing area they will be able to go to this area and make words and letters. They will be able to make objects that match the words. for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The Playdough allows me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. What becomes a problem is the fact that the Playdough gets hard fast never seem to last. When something goes awry, students know that they may go and make something with Playdough. Students work is displayed daily on table so parents and students can see their creativity.
