Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am honored to teach an incredible group of curious, creative, and resilient students. Every day, they bring an eagerness to explore new ideas, engage in hands-on activities, and work together. They are passionate about STEM and thrive in projects that allow them to build, experiment, and learn through doing.

The LEGO Spike Essential Kits will have an immediate, meaningful impact on their learning.

These kits will let them engage in hands-on coding and engineering, transforming abstract concepts into something tangible and exciting. By designing and building their own robotic projects, they will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a way that feels like play. Working in pairs or small groups, students will also strengthen their teamwork and communication abilities, learning to brainstorm, troubleshoot, and create together.

My goals for this project are to deepen their understanding of STEM concepts, foster teamwork, and build the foundational skills they’ll need for a technology-driven future. Through activities that encourage exploration and experimentation, I want my students to develop a growth mindset and gain confidence as young innovators. They bring diverse perspectives and talents to the classroom, and I’m excited to see how this project will help them learn, create, and grow.
