Help me give my students the experience of learning how to transplant seedlings into our raised garden beds and watch them grow flowering fruits. As the plants grow our student will learn that these plants will need support.

My Project
These generous materials will help us build our community garden. Our student leaders participate in the gardening experience and in turn will harvest beautiful produce for our leaders, their families and the community. Students will experience a hands on approach to learning. They will develop a love for gardening and the meaning of growing seeds into vegetation that they will learn about. The new into reading curriculum does a deep dive into plants and the life cycle in grades kindergarten through third grade. What better way to engage the students into the curriculum than with a hands on activity that goes hand in hand with curriculum. Help us get the supplies to support this beautiful vision that our Leaders at our school want to make a reality. STEM through gardening engages students in a hands-on activity and the love for the outdoors! Stop by our garden during the summer to benefit from the fruits of our labor!
