My students are a great bunch of unique individuals this year. They have vast differences, but all come together to form our community. I have students of different abilities and personalities, as well as interests. Many of my students enjoy moving as much as possible during the day. I love giving them this chance! They are so in love with learning and trying new things. They also have a great growth mindset to preserve through all our new challenges together.
My Project
This project focuses on math/science games and activities for my students. There are math games that are engaging, such as monopoly, that will require them to focus on their counting and money skills.
Botley Coding Robots are a great way to boost engagement in the STEM and Coding areas.
Students will be able to program the Botley to follow different paths. They will create and then navigate the robot through different obstacle courses. These are extremely engaging and fun for students!
STEM is an area of study that is increasing in interest because of the engagement that teachers can provide in this subject. These activities will help my students learn to love science and math in a new and engaging way.
