Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I currently teach a very diverse group of 25 3rd grade students with a variety of learning styles and needs. My schools mission is to engage students in vast learning opportunities by building their STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) minds.

I want to provide my students with exciting, engaging and thought provoking STEM activities and games!

My students work so diligently to complete the class work and meet district and state learning standards. It would be amazing to be able to provide them access to more hands on activities and games. My goal is to use these as early finisher STEM bins as a motivator for work completion. Many of the math activities will be an amazing resource to add to my daily math rotations. They will also be great to add to indoor recess time, I can’t wait to see what wonderful inventions my students can create.
