My students are incredibly unique small humans who love to learn. They all have diagnosed disabilities and receive occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy, along with educational services from myself and a teacher's aide. Most of my students use alternative methods of communication like symbols, ipads with communication apps, printed out core word boards, spelling/typing, and other methods
My Project
I was given a grant from general motors to support STEM instruction in my classroom. I cannot wait to share these materials with our sister classroom, so all of our students can use these awesome materials. I am excited for our math centers to be enhanced with the the lakeshore instant centers. In the afternoon the design and build centers will help support peer-to-peer communication and social skills.
