My students are burnt out by Friday in school and they need some new fun and engaging math games to help build that spark in learning after a long week of the boring math curriculum that works but is not very exciting.
Do you remember the fun of strategizing when playing games with your friends?
I would like to introduce my students to the fun of the game of Battleship and blowing up each other strategies. I want my students to increase their memory with the game Simon. I would love to see my students competing against each other in a game of Shut the Box which requires knowing your number facts. Sometimes my students require simpler games such as Connect 4. Math learning should be fun!
