My Project
The purpose of this project is to provide an innovative, learning experience to help elicit excitement in STEM, as well as to enhance classroom instruction. Most children love STEM, however, there are minimal resources at the elementary level that help refine and cultivate a student’s scientific mindset.
The "STEM: Fri-YAYs" is designed to bring unique educational experiences consisting of hands-on, interactive activities which allow students the opportunity to move around the room performing various activities and experiments that enhance their learning.
The donations of the STEM kits will provide my students with activities and experiments that will foster student innovation, creativity, and problem-solving. For each holiday party, in lieu of snacks due to allergies, the students will participate in a new STEM activity to elicit creativity and excitement for learning.
The activities also provide a fun, engaging way to comprehend STEM concepts. These activities and experiments will change my students' lives and will create lifelong educational memories.
