My Students
Living in a high poverty area in a North County suburb of Saint Louis has its challenges. I am sure you have heard of the strife my students face on a daily basis. They just need more opportunities to learn, and having adequate resources wouldn't hurt either.
My students are very passionately curious about Science.
They beg for more and more hands on learning opportunities. They look forward to the new experiences that Science provides on a daily basis. Who knows if they may be the next big name in the Scientific field, or make some new discovery, or just learn to appreciate school more and therefore achieve more.
My Project
These hands-on materials will be used to expose and grow student's knowledge of STEM. They will do this by drawing circuits with circuit scribe, working with robots like sphero mini, and creating hands on makerspace projects with LED lights, breadboards, coin batteries, and copper
foil tape.
These students will be exposed to ideas that they may never get a chance to otherwise. They need to be able to learn and grow in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. We will be using these materials in the classroom and after school for a club. This will be a STEM adventure.
