Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Parks Elementary scholars are bright and curious. We are a school in Pasadena, Texas where more than three-fourths of my school comes from a low-income background. Our students are well rounded and eager readers. They have a love of learning and a desire to learn more every day. Educators at our school strive daily to give our students the best education, love and nurture that we can daily. We are determined to work with our student's parents and families to provide our students with the best support possible to encourage their minds to bloom!
My Project
The students at Parks Elementary love to learn and create new things. Our little engineers will have the opportunity build, create, and work together with STEM kits.
These STEM kits will build resilience, encourage teamwork, and build problem solving skills among our little engineers.
The STEM kits will be a great addition to our library and will be easily accessible to all students. Our students will benefit from working with these STEM kits because they are age appropriate and adaptable to all levels of ability. Preparing our little engineers to become innovators and inventors begins with providing them with STEM kits in our library.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
