Stem (Fine Motor Skills)

Help me give my students more hands-on-materials to help them improve their fine motor skills and use their imagination. This will set them up for success in Kindergarten.

My Project

The STEM items that I have chosen are for fine motor skills and to let the students use their imagination. Just recently some of the students have learned to rotate groups. Most of the items will be used for group times. Some groups will be teacher led and hopeful one group will learn to work independently.

The students have been in a make due classroom for this school because of building issues, at there regular school.

They have toys to play with but they are starting to get tired of the same toys.

Students have been working hard to learn many different things:

*To write their name case appropriate

*The letters of the alphabet. Today's letter was "P".

*Understanding a ten frame. Today was number 6. A few of the students realized right away that there 5 on the top row of the ten frame.

Please support my students from Savoonga, Alaska. St. Lawerence Island is very remote. The only way to get to the island is by a 9 seater plane from Bering Air out of Nome, Alaska.

Ms. Celeste will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 30.
