Many of my students have very limited experiences and opportunities to develop their natural curiosity and desire for discovery. I have the great privilege and wonderful opportunity to teach in a great school district!
My students come from various backgrounds and learning experiences.
My desire is to give all my students challenging and meaningful learning experiences that will spark their imagination and motivate them to dream and work hard to accomplish those dreams.
My Project
Can you remember being in middle school? Most of us remember the many changes that we experienced. My students are experiencing in many ways the "best of times" as they enjoy advances in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), but they also face many challenges and limited opportunities.
With these supplies, my students will be able to experience real-world science for themselves instead of watching a science simulation!
My students need STEM classroom supplies such as a Periodic Table Chart to analyze trends, Ozobot Bit to learn coding and frogs to dissect the anatomy. As my students investigate in STEM inquiry labs throughout the year, I anticipate seeing many smiles as they gain confidence and develop new skills.
