This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The items requested in this project can benefit my students in many ways in the upcoming school year. As the 5th grade science teacher, I would like to give my students a never before experience, and make it their daily routine. With the safety glasses and lab coats students will be able to participate in endless experiments in a way that is safe to all of those within the classroom. Also, I believe that it would allow students to truly immerse and engage themselves into the content in ways that they have not before. Not only will students learn science content, but they will do so in an engaging manner (wearing their lab coats/goggles) while actually performing activities like a scientist (observing, analyzing, reflecting, experimenting, etc).
