My Students

We are a Title 1 school. My students get free and reduced price lunch. My students are eager to learn. They want to be in school everyday because they want to learn and do their best. Despite the many hardships they eyes lit up when they are introduced to new and fun ways of learning. They have great interest in hands-on-learning and challenging activities.

They are inventors, innovators, problem solvers, future engineers and scientists.

Their world evolved from art and craft, drawing, creating and designing. Now it time to take them into the 21st century. I want to give my students the best experience with a 3D printer so they can fully develop their skills through STEAM.

My Project

All of my students work in groups in the STEM lab. Many times they use trail and error method a lot in their engineering and design process. Pencils, erasers and copy paper are important tools they must have to develop the skill of engineering and design.

My students cannot perform at their maximum when materials are not enough.

Many times we are stuck at the ending of a project when the students don't have access to ink in a printer. Having the the adequate materials for my STEM classes all my students will benefit by creating and publishing using the right technology.
