My Project

This year students in my school has had the opportunity to explore concepts of STEM using many of the materials I was able to get with your generous donations. We are starting a new iBlock unit called, "Specialty Trucks." Through the various text students will conduct research to learn about different trucks and eventually build their own trucks with special functions.

These resources will provide my students with hands-on opportunities to engage with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts.

The electric scissors will allow for creating 3D cardboard projects more efficiently. The wheels and shafts will enable students to build and design their own trucks, reinforcing principles of physics and engineering. Straws, construction papers and tapes will assist in students designing their specialty trucks. The Tumble Trax Marble Run and building blocks make for great STEM centers that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they design and test their structures. The photo organizer, trays and bins will be used to organize center materials for students and distribute materials.

My students are a diverse and dynamic group with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. They are curious, creative, and eager to explore new concepts. By equipping them with the right tools, we can help them unlock their potential and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
