Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so excited to have the opportunity to participate in hands-on STEM/STEAM lab projects.

In order to safely conduct our lab projects, I need to have safety goggles and lab coats available to students.

In addition, other supplies are needed to complete these projects which the school does not have such as neon and metallic markers for Solar System lab projects as well as baking soda to complete beginning chemistry Properties of Matter labs.

My goal for this project is to give our students the required supplies to have successful and safe STEM / STEAM lab projects.

These students are loving the wonderful opportunity to have hands-on lab experiences and are learning so much about science. This school does not have a formal science program for elementary students. They are so appreciative of this experience!
