STEM and Stones: Creating Historical Monuments with LEGO

Help me give my students the opportunity to develop a curriculum that combines social studies with STEM, allowing students to understand historical events and cultural developments through scientific and technological advancements.

My Project

This project will enable the development of an innovative and engaging curriculum that not only deepens students' understanding of social studies, but also equips them with essential STEM skills. By supporting this project, you will help inspire the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers who can draw connections between the past and the future.

Students will use LEGO kits to build replicas of the Great Wall of China, The Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, The Roman Colosseum, and a Medieval Castle.

I have various students with ranges of disabilities that respond well to hands-on learning.

My goal is to provide this opportunity to all of my social studies students.
