My Students

Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with many receiving free lunch. This is a Title I school where many students are receiving extra help with Math and Reading to try to get them close to where they should be for their grade.

These 8-9 year olds are very eager to learn but just don't always know how.

They are full of life and excitement! School is the place where they can go to feel safe during the day.

My Project

The students in my class cannot get enough books to read. The passion that they have for books is inspiring and I want to continue providing new materials for them! Third graders are very eager to learn and explore. All of the STEM materials not only give them that opportunity but also allow for a creative break during the day. A lot of our day is extremely structured and it is tough to keep up that pace. Plus, who wouldn't love the chance to try programming a robot?

The products that I have selected will help my students throughout the day by giving them more interesting books to read, STEM activities to allow them to be creative, and more seating options for comfort.

I want to continue to be able to challenge my students and let them show their creativity. Please help me keep the excitement for learning alive in my students!
