Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I hope to excite and engage my students with hands-on investigation of STEAM concepts such as computer science, engineering design, physical science and coding while contributing to literacy, math, and social-emotional development and reinforcing scientific practices, computational thinking, mechanical engineering and mathematical practices.
They will expand on their Critical Thinking & Problem Solving skills through collaboration and teamwork.
With various LEGO sets, they will gain an understanding of forces and motion with hands-on learning experiences without the need for technology in addition to analyzing data and prototyping creative hands-on solutions for complex problems with real-world relevance.
