This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars are the nation's next leaders. Every day, students are engaged in mathematics, science, engineering, and technology-based curriculum and projects. Their increasing curiosity in STEM-related professions are beyond imaginative as they strive to become extraordinary students.

My students are ambitious, innovative, and critical thinkers.

Every day, they put their best foot forwards to take advantage of meaningful learning experiences that will last a lifetime. They exhibit high levels of motivation and work extremely hard to be successful in everything they put their minds to.

My Project

Our school is a STEM magnet campus that is a learning hub for over 600 students. Digital learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is an everyday routine for our 21st century learners. Having access to technology can improve my students collaboration skills, content mastery in academics, and innovation ideas.

Due to Hurricane Harvey, some students are left without technology and digital resources, therefore, this laptop could contribute to their academic success, despite their hardship.

More than 50% of my students are economically disadvantaged. These laptops will bring great joy to their lives by making them even stronger scholars. It is important that students have access to learning materials because their only obligation is to receive a top quality education. There materials are essentials as we prepare our scholars for middle school.
