My Students

Our school is a small Title I neighborhood school supporting the needs of students from pre-K to fifth grade. We are also a school that's designated to offer services for students with special needs. Many of our students struggle with emotional, social, physical and intellectual challenges. These students require unique responses to help them achieve their potential.

Our students are hard working and eager to learn.

They come to school asking questions and looking to move forward no matter what challenges they may face. Our at home students are also excited to learn and crave new challenges and learning experiences.

My Project

With Covid numbers on the rise our students will be spending more days at home. To help avoid screen fatigue and keep them excited about learning, I'm constantly looking for virtual lessons that can easily be shared with students who are learning from home.

My students loved the escape room simulations and STEAM based lessons that I shared with them while we were doing face-to-face learning; this project will help me be able to continue sharing those resources with them while they are learning from home.

With your help I plan to use the TPT gift cards to find resources so my students can learn about the War of 1812, the Civil War, challenges facing the rainforest and so much more while also solving puzzles that require them to use their critical thinking skills!
