This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students love to explore, build and reason and will have tons of opportunities to do all three as they use these tubs of STEM projects. As our school switches to a departmentalized second grade, I will be teaching math and science to 44 eager and energetic young learners. My goal is to provide daily opportunities for my students to explore basic engineering principles, building principles, creative expression and work together. As they complete each project, using the Create-A-Chain-Reaction STEM Kit, LEGO Transparent Bricks Build Set, STEM Challenges Card Set, and other items, they will have a chance to explain their thinking and planning to the entire class. By helping fund this timely project, you can share in my students’ deeper learning and richer understanding of scientific principles. Thanks so much for your support!
