My Project

I love teaching Autistic and Intellectual disabled students. My focus is to engage our STEAM TEAM learners to continue to be excited about the world of science and mathematics using a visual and hands-on approach. Some special needs students often become frustrated by their attempts to learn how to use a compound microscope to view magnified images. I am requesting the Trinocular Lab Compound Microscope which will allow all students to be engaged in the lesson.

The Trinocula Lab Compound Microscope can be used to teach students in-person and remotely using a computerized smart board and during Zoom instruction presentations.

The microscope allows teachers to project images directly on smart boards for all to see, take pictures, and record videos which could be saved for future reference.

Students could be assessed by the images they observe by completing graphic organizers to show their understanding of a topic. Students could compare and contrast plant and animal cells using a real-life visual approach. With unprecedented disruptions during the previous school year, it's time to find the right solution to invest in our students success.
