Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing little humans that make the classroom an amazing place full of daily curiosity, ingenuity, and creativity. I work at a school in Williamsburg Brooklyn. In this new role as a project-based third-grade teacher, I want my students to have as many tools and resources as possible to shine and demonstrate their potential for brilliance.

I want my students to have a variety of resources to enhance their understanding and skills in areas such as; Science, Technology, Art, Engineering, and Mathematics.

I have selected a variety of engineering activities to challenge students and engage them in hands-on activities, where they can build models, test them and reconfigure them to be more effective. I have also included a selection of art materials to create different art projects using a variety of media from oil pastels to different markers and different types of paint.

I am also requesting some reading comprehension games. These games will help my students use the reading skills they are learning more engagingly and independently.

With your support, I know these projects will become a possibility. On behalf of my students, I thank you in advance for your kind contribution to our classroom.
