This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Elevate is a new High School in the Denver Metro Area. Seniors of 2025 are our first graduating class! I am an art teacher trying to build a strong art curriculum at a primarily STEAM school. Students will use stained glass materials to learn the stained glass process and essential tools for other STEAM projects.

These materials will last for years so that high school students of all ages can learn and practice techniques such as creating stained glass windows, lamps, and other engineering related projects.

Combining visual arts and engineering skills teach students how to apply creativity in a practical manner. They will have fun engaging in the process and create projects that will last a lifetime.
