Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Pre-K Students are from a variety of backgrounds. Together we have embraced the new school year Full STEAM ahead by greeting each other with a smile & a loud "CHOO-CHOO"! This group of students have many challenges ranging from lack of fine motor skills to speech and language barriers. They are most excited to come to class to see what we have planned for the day.

They always come in eager to start and tell each other fun things they are going to do.

Often I see them giving each other hugs and saying: "I am your friend". They then hop along to sign their names and place their little person on our School Train. "ALL ABOARD," they say as they gather on the carpet for Circle Time.

My Project

My classroom needs a new Cassette & CD player because in our class we move and dance a lot as we work.

First my students work best when we listen to music that stimulate their minds as they work on projects in the many centers around the class.

They are always eager to discover new things and curious to share their experiences.

Often working in pairs or in groups the students become each others helpers and they take pride in doing it. Our block area is noisy with constructions, buildings going up, bridges, schools and farms being built our little engineers are always hard at work.
