Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

STEAM is important in early childhood education because it creates a life long learner by exposing them to different activities to develop their critical thinking. Not only does STEAM create a framework to think critically, but it also contributes to problem-solving and creativity skills.

STEAM activities cover lessons in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

Science encourages investigation and answering questions, often involving experimentation.

Technology refers to using simple tools like crayons and rulers as well as microscopes and globes

Engineering refers to recognizing problems and testing solutions.

Arts encourage creativity and allow children to illustrate what they are learning.

Mathematics is with colors, and patterns.
