This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students are awesome. For grades kindergarten to grade 5, we have some of the best and brightest students in the city. Our school was the first elementary public school in the United States. It is only fitting to revolutionize the Stem/ Engineering curriculum to the next level with cutting-edge technology that will build a love of learning for science.
The Interactive Smartboard and 3D Printer Kit will bring lessons to life by hands on learning for my young engineers.
Having the ability to drag and drop will be ideal for young engineers in K-2. Students in upper grades will be using the 3-D printer to build bridges, boats, and honestly whatever our minds can imagine. Both items will enhance the importance of coding and showing an endpoint to learning about algorithms.
With an Interactive Smartboard and 3D Printer kit, I will be able to teach students 21-century skills and build capacity for jobs that they might encompass in the future surrounding Science and Technology.
