My Project

My STEAM Kids' Action Team is making a difference in our community and beyond, as they learn about ecosystems, climate change, and the importance of biodiversity and stewardship of the earth.

Students need hands-on STEM materials (while learning about engineering, solar energy, robotics, magnetism, microbiology, weather, etc) and hope to sell seeds to promote pollinators and biodiversity in the community.

We have spent time connecting with nature, identifying native plants, removing invasive species, and soil testing. Future field trips include water testing, an amphibian count, community tree care, and gardening.
