My Students

Our school is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) Magnet school with a diverse population that reflects Los Angeles County. Half of my students ride the bus in from various parts of Los Angeles County. Most of our school receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My students are motivated and diligent students.

I not only have an ethnically diverse class, but I also have a class with varying academic abilities. I have students who have been identified with special needs as well as students who demonstrate strong academic capabilities. My students come with a keen interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our school's goal is to prepare every child to be college and career ready, especially in the areas of STEAM.

My Project

Please help us get a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card so that we can purchase innovative and fun STEAM activities that have been rated to be effective in the classroom. The gift card will allow me to provide my students with different activities that align with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

I will be able to buy various types of hands-on activities to enhance my STEAM instruction in class.

My students become highly engaged when we have hands-on STEAM activities, and the gift card will go a long way to helping me provide these learning opportunities for my class.
